This is a lo-fi version of Glitch City Laboratories, meant for backup purposes. Everyone is encouraged to download a backup of the site every time one is made available, to prevent loss of all the research and data contained within GCL, should the website crash or something, which would really suck. The Glitch City Labs Team gives authorization for anyone to host this backup on their own website.
Glitch Dimension
The Glitch Dimension is the term used to refer to an effect that scrambles up the colors on Gold/Silver/Crystal games. It is not a new Region in the sense that Glitch City is, but it is a glitchy area. Some call it the Glitch City of G/S/C, but that title is inaccurate. (Images courtesy of zach the glitch buster)

Glitch Dimension 01
This Dimension is caused by doing the following:
Talk to the Machop stamping the land at Vermillion City.
Immediately after doing so, look at the Coin Case in your Items Pack.
The game will reset, in funky colors.
Unfortunately, this is about as glitchy as it gets. No new terrains, Pokémon, or items to be found using this trick.
Glitch Dimension 02 (discovered by xparasite9 of the Forums)
This Glitch Dimension is caused by using the Cooltrainer Move's G/S/C equivalent in battle:
Trade a Ditto with the Cooltrainer move to a G/S/C game.
Get into battle and attempt to attack.
The game will reset, once again, in more different funky colors.
Using the G/S/C equivalents of the glitch moves TM52, TM53, TM54, or TM55 will also cause this to happen. This has not been studied thoroughly.
Additionally, this may be achieved by first checking to see if all four move zeroes are activated, (if not, look at another Pokemon's moves in the stats menu without closing it, and moving back to the Ditto's moveset screen) and then using a Mysteryberry on each blank move. Sometimes this will not activate it, so it will have to be done in battle afterwards.
Oddly enough, Glitch dimension 2 is widely variable. Sometimes the water will be red, purple, or green, and the character sprites may all be blue. Most of the time, however, the colors will change to greyscale when battling.
